Pressure
Equipment

Safety Legislation today affects most businesses and imposes a burden of responsibility on owner's, occupiers and managers of properties, as well as on the users of plant and machinery.

The Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR) place a duty on equipment owners/users to ensure that they have a Written Scheme of Examination in place for certain categories of pressure equipment.

Furthermore, owner/users of this equipment need to ensure that Independent Impartial Inspections are carried out by a Competent Person in accordance with the Written Scheme of Examination and that they retain current copies of Inspection Reports.

Plant Risk Services can provide these services for the following categories of pressure equipment:

  • Compressed Air Receivers
  • Air Oil Receivers
  • Pressurisation Vessels
  • Autoclaves
